Sandy Bartlett has been in the legal profession since 1985. After working as a paralegal for twenty three years, she expanded her experience to managing the trademark department at a prominent intellectual law firm in Washington, D.C. After becoming a member of the Maryland Bar, she quickly applied her extensive legal experience and was named an associate attorney at a firm in Greenbelt, MD. Her associate practice concentrated on civil litigation throughout Maryland.
Attorney Bartlett's academic experience cultivated her into a seasoned professional. She is an alumna of both Hampton and Howard Universities. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Howard University with a major in English and a minor in Business Administration. She received her paralegal certificate with honors from The University of San Diego. Mrs. Bartlett earned her Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America - The Columbus School of Law and was admitted to the Maryland Bar June, 2014. Mrs. Bartlett is also a member of the Federal bar for the Maryland U.S. District.
Attorney Bartlett continues to concentrate on trademark prosecution, copyright protection and general business law. She works diligently and zealously for her clients. Mrs. Bartlett spends her time educating her clients as well as providing proactive legal advice. She works with new clients ready to set up a business plan and established business owners desiring more protection of their intellectual property assets.
Mrs. Bartlett is very active in her community and bar memberships. She is an Adjunct Faculty member at Anne Arundel Community College in the School of Business and Law.
